Child Protect was established to assist the Department of Human Resources and Law Enforcement in their investigation of child sexual and physical abuse. The evidence gathered during the forensic interview is ultimately turned over to the District Attorney’s office for prosecution.

The mission of the Alabama Department of Children's Affairs is to provide state leadership to identify, analyze, streamline and coordinate services for the 1.2 million children ages 0-19 throughout Alabama.

VOICES for Alabama's Children is a nonprofit multi-issue, bipartisan chldren's advocacy organization. Support comes from both individual supporters/donors and organizational members. VOICES receives no federal funding but counts on the generosity of its supporters to continue on.
