When your kids are out of control and you are also becoming out of control because of them, maybe it is time to show them how respect, discipline and other values are learned the hard way. Sending your children to boot camps can be harsh in a way. However, if they persist on their ill behavior, you have to make that damage control sooner. Seeing them in more alarming situations might become the greatest regrets of your life. You have to decide now!

Boot camps or brat camps (to others) are primarily established for juvenile offenders. They have more good effect on troubled teens than correctional facilities. That is why private boot camps have been opened for those struggling teens without criminal records, but they are just simply “brats.” Most of these camps intend to improve the behavior and personality of such teenagers.

There are many types of boot camps, they include:

 * Troubled teen ranch
 * Behavior modification facility
 * Military school
 * Wilderness treatment program
 * Specialty  boarding school
 * Residential treatment center

The stay in camp can be short-term or long-term. It usually depends upon the recommendation of the authorities, such as the school principal. You don’t have to worry about your kids being in these camps. They have staff who guide the children in their daily structured activities.
