A Positive Look At Stress
Stress is often inevitably perceived on a negative note. Understandably, stress is something that people do not welcome. Indeed, stress can be very frustrating and tiring. However, one should not discount the fact that stress can also be perceived on a positive note because stress is also one of the reasons behind people’s rise to excellence. Through stress, some people were forced to live up to their dreams and to push themselves to their full potential.

Aside from this positive role that stress can play in a person’s life, experts say that stress is actually something that we need in our lives. Biologically, that is. A perfect example is when a person encounters an accident or an emergency situation that would force him or her to do something that he or she would not be able to do on ordinary circumstances, like carrying heavy objects, running, leaping to a maximum distance at a lengthened period of time. This is due to the stress hormones that the body releases to keep our minds and bodies alert and ready for action.
Moreover, recent studies on the positive effects of stress shows that stress can be used to stimulate one’s faculties in order to achieve better results in an endeavor for excellence. Stress can be used for better performance.
